How is my attendance tracked, and what counts as an absence?

Question: How does Zollege track my attendance and what is considered an absence?
Answer: Attendance is tracked through two systems: HubSpot (updated by your Academic Advisor based on instructor sign-in sheets) and your Canvas gradebook (updated by your instructor at the end of each class). An absence is recorded any time you miss a scheduled class session without prior approval. Arriving more than 15 minutes late or leaving more than 15 minutes early may also be counted as a partial absence at the instructor’s discretion. If you believe your attendance is recorded incorrectly, please reach out to your instructor first. If the issue cannot be resolved, your Academic Advisor can review the records with you and submit a correction.
