I’m a WIOA student. How do I get my certificate before paying my balance?

Question: I am funded through WIOA. My case manager needs my Certificate of Completion before final payment is processed. How does this work?


Answer: Yes, WIOA students can receive their Certificate of Completion before final payment is made, as long as your case manager has confirmed funding in writing. Have your WIOA case manager email your Academic Advisor a written confirmation that final payment will be processed. Confirm with your advisor that all academic and externship requirements are complete. Once received, your certificate will be released within 5 business days. If your case manager cannot send the confirmation by email, please ask them to call our Finance team at the number on your invoice.
