How to Request Your Certificate or Official Transcript
This article explains how graduates receive their certificate and transcripts, the different document request options available, associated processing times and fees, and how to request a correction for a name change or typo.
Once you've graduated and your final tuition balance is paid in full, your certificate is automatically emailed as a PDF to the address on file within 5 business days. Check your spam folder if you don't see it after a week.
To request another copy or an official transcript:
- Digital PDF (free): Use the Document Request form in your Student Portal. Delivery is typically same-day during business hours. Request as many copies as you need.
- Sealed paper transcript ($15): Required by some employers, state boards, and bridge programs. Mailed via USPS within 5 business days. You'll need the recipient's full mailing address.
- Notarized transcript ($25): Available on request for international employers and immigration paperwork. Allow 7-10 business days.
If your name on the certificate needs to be corrected (legal name change, typo, etc.), email your advisor with a copy of your government ID and we'll reissue at no charge.
